Hayward Neon began as a custom sign shop outside of Austin in 1986. Since then, a lot has changed, but never once have we changed our mission! We believe in the "old school" way of doing things. Just like neon signs themselves, which are almost 100 years old and still outperform the newest technology, all of our signs are handmade and our repairs are done manually.

Found a broken Neon sign up against the garbage at a buddies apartment. Not knowing much about neon I felt like there was still something salvageable on it so I picked it up and brought it to Hayward Neon. The guy was very kind and took my sign and tested each tube out. He quickly realized the issue and told me it would probably not be worth the repair cost to get the outer tubes redone but he made a work around so the broken tubes wouldn't interfere with the rest of the sign.
Within a few minutes he had the sign that I thought would just be scrap parts working. Best yet he didn't charge me a thing to look it over and fix it. He even taught me a thing or two about how the neon worked. All I can say is if I ever get another sign or need another repai I'll definitely go here first.
