Leon "Buz" White was born in Corvallis Oregon in 1933. His nickname was given to him because he had a lot of energy as a child. He had the entrepreneurship spirit at an early age with his own paper route. He later graduated from the Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls with a degree in graphic design.

Screen-print or "silk-screen" technology was cutting edge during this time and is still a very effective method for print media. In 1961, with the invaluable help of his wife Carol, Buz created his own sign company out of his garage in Portland.

Buz White is my company's go to sign company. We love them because they are local, produce proofs within 24 hours and have timely deliveries. Buzz white did a phenomenal job on my rebrand. They were generous with their time and allowed me to work on my own schedule. Moving over 10 years of branding is not an easy task.
