Husband and wife team Diane and Ernie work together to carve signs, make banners, print decals, and laser engrave. Ernie also uses his engineering skills to maintain the company's CNC router and laser engraving system. In his spare time, he is learning how to blacksmith and make custom knives. We started carving signs in 1994 after Ernie built his first CNC router and friends kept asking him to make signs. We found that the same software would support vinyl cutters, so we started producing ready-to-apply vinyl lettering.
We can laser engrave text and graphics onto wood, ceramic tiles, acrylic, and Rowmark-type plastic used for hotel signs and name badges. Our laser engraving and cutting system is larger than most, having an active area of 35 x 47 inches. This allows us to work with larger substrates. We are able to cut 1/8" wood easily and sometimes as thick as 1/4". We also cut acrylic, plexiglass, and many other plastics.
