Kiefer Auction Supply was founded in 1980 by Kurt Kiefer, then a 25 year old auctioneer with a background in the graphic arts industry. It moved to Fergus Falls, Minnesota in 1987 and has been here ever since. Its headquarters is located in a 20,000 square foot building at 417 West Stanton Avenue in downtown Fergus Falls.
Mike Breen purchased the company in 2017, moving from Vice President to his current position of President. He has worked in the auction supply for almost 30 years, and attended more than 50 auctioneer conventions/functions to keep a feel on the pulse of the industry.
