Services
We are very proud of the Brimley name in the neon and sign industry. Beginning in 1930, Leonard and Harvey Brimley started one of the first neon sign shops in Utah, in Salt Lake City. Brimley Brothers Neon was recognized throughout the western states for over 45 years for its high ethics, quality work, and good service.

America needs more people like these folks running businesses like this. A nostalgic atmosphere with friendly service and more years of experience and knowledge than you can shake a stick at. A one of a kind Salt Lake City icon. Businesses dont get this old and reputable by mistake. Brimley keeps this art alive and well.

My experience with Brimley Neon was one of best parts of the process in becoming a new business owner. From the very first meeting with Emily I was treated like one of the family! I was given a tour of the facility where I was introduced to Emily's father and her husband. I was shown how they make the neon signs and I have a true appreciation for the talent, expertise, and the many years they have been in business.
My sign was a very detailed design and color combination and my expectations were exceeded! The sign was delivered and installed on time. I was referred to them, and I had talked to other sign companies and received other bids, they were by far the most professional and fair priced. I love supporting family owned businesses and they will have a customer for life!

I have worked with Brimley for several years now. We have a commericial strip center. Brimley has been involved in both repairs as well as new signs and design. I have been so impressed with their cutomer service as well as their competive pricing. I have worked with other sign companies and would chose Brimley hands down. I have been so happy with their service and product, each time I work with a client (I sell commercial real eastate) who is in need of a sign, I refer them to Brimley. Great company!

This company was difficult to deal with. We were primarily dealing with Emily Brimley. They agreed to the job and the deadline so that we had our sign for the grand opening of our business. The sign was supposed to be completed by Feb 28th for the grand opening on March 4th. The sign was finally installed on March 6th. 2 days after our Grand Opening. Emily told us that she was sick for 10 days and that's why the sign wasn't completed.
She has nothing to do with production and that should not have affected the production of our sign. Her next excuse was that her crane operator was out due to a surgery. There was no accountability for missing our deadline. Everything was "out of my control". She sent a text saying she was really sorry and would "deeply discount" our sign. What she ended up discounting was 4 hours labor that should not have been charged to begin with and the mounting brackets.
We were promised a discount of "almost $600." We expressed our dissatisfaction with the experience and Emily has not taken any accountability for not meeting the deadlines. In fact she is trying to charge us more than the original quote because we are being "difficult" to deal with. We ended up using a different sign company 2 years ago when Brimley Neon failed on 2 appointments to even show up to give us a bid.
We are reasonable people and are not trying to get out of paying anything. We just want to be treated fairly considering we missed out on having a sign for our building for our grand opening. We had people calling from the parking lot asking us where the store was because there was no sign on the business. When I asked Emily about this, her response was "How much $$ loss do you think your sign not being up affected you in 2 days?" Last point.if you are still reading this.
I called the owner of the company and left a message on his voicemail to call me so we could work to resolve the issue before it blew out of proportion. It has been over a week and I have yet to receive a call back for resolution. Never using this company again. There are plenty of other companies out there that will do a better job! Keep looking.
