Universal Sign

Founded in 1906, Elias Rocha took the helm in 1964 to go on to gain a solid reputation as one of the Bay Area's leading hand-painted sign companies. Painting everything from merry-go-rounds to high-end gold leaf window signs, Universal established itself as a leader in high quality craftsmanship. When the first vinyl banners were introduced in 1978, Universal developed a system of installation while working with this new medium that had not yet been perfected.Universal was on the cutting edge then and remains successful at adapting to and utilizing the latest advancements in technology and materials.
