Came in there to try and talk to the owner as I have some clients that have asked me for an awning company. I also needed an awning for my office. The owner refused to shake my hand and wouldn't even talk to me about my client's needs or my needs then asked me to please leave. Would have liked to do business with them. I will just find another company that will at least talk to me.

This review would have gotten a 5 star ratings if it wasn't for David Tobias' lack of professionalism. First of all, he is extremely unorganized. He asked for our logo 4 different times (all were emailed). Then he asked for a signed approval letter 3 different times (again all were emailed). He would ask for it every week and acted as if he never asked for it or never received it.
He actually asked for it the final time 3 days before the deadline. By the way, we have already been working with him for almost 8 weeks at this point. Secondly, if he is your contact, make sure that you stay on top of your timeline. He did not have any sense of urgency to complete our project. We had to track him down on a daily basis to meet deadline.
Last of all, he installed our monumental sign (one by the road) without getting a permit approved through the city first. The sign was up for a good week before it was flipped around. I get an email from him 3 days later explaining that he didn't want to get fined. As of today, it has been 1 week since the sign was flipped and he has yet to rectify the situation. UPDATE: the monumental sign issue is getting addressed. Let me point out that he MET our deadline, we love our sign and his pricing was very competitive.

David Tobias is a principle at Suntec and a member of a business group that I am in. Although I have not purchased a sign from him, I can tell you that his business is run like the businesses of the old days here in America. Service and quality are what they live for. You won't regret calling this company.
