Called and talked to Andre. Seamed like a real nice guy upfront just to get my business. After I paid for his service he he was impossible to get ahold of. Completely unreliable and missed the agreed time frame. When they finally came out, the work was completely sloppy. Left my job site a mess. Please save yourself the nightmare and go with someone else.

Western Neon did a wonderful job with our new location signage. Working with our tight budget, Andre and his team offered more budget friendly alternatives and created the perfect look for our new location! We are so pleased with their attentiveness, even to a small business like ours! highly recommend and hope to use again!

We had just rebranded our company and gone through an extensive name, logo and business change. During the process we had to deal with multiple vendors for various brand designs and products. Western Neon's staff and installers were by far the easiest and most efficient to work with. Not only did they get our design buttoned up with a very competitive price, but they allowed us to film the manufacturing process which we were able to use on social media and promote the name change.
The install process was on schedule time, and the installers were very professional and respective of our staff during the process. Great staff, great creativity, great service and great result. Now our 40 year old company and name will be shinning bright on Seattle for another 40 years.

My wife put me in charge of signage for the 2nd location of her cafe, and when I mentioned neon she was reluctant. but in the end she (and I) couldn't be happier! The folks at Western Neon took great care of us from the first time I emailed them, throughout the design process and through to installation. Their customer service was great, the sign was installed on time for our grand opening, and it looks just beautiful. Highly recommended!

Beautiful workmanship, great service and a good value, that was our experience with Western Neon. Big Chickie in Hillman City needed some great signage to draw drivers attention on Rainier Ave and tto help set the atmosphere in our old refurbished gas station. We reached out to Western Neon for some solutions. We could not have been happier with Western Neon.
They assisted us with scaling our request to meet our budget. They worked with our contractors to come up with a unique mounting solution that would work with our roofers demands and the overall construction time table. They delivered when they said they would deliver. And when user error led to a problem they came out quickly and helped resolve it (with out making me the user feel too stupid. darn secret switch)

As one of the owners of The Octopus Bar, I was insistent on having a neon sign for our first bar. Our bar is located in the Wallingford neighborhood between two vintage movie theaters with HUGE old neons and I knew we needed to compliment them or we would get lost in the mix. I was fortunate to have one of their employees as a customer at a previous business I worked for and had a great exchange with him so when he came in one day and told me that he was working for Western Neon.
I knew it was. a sign (!). A few weeks later we set up an appointment with Carole to discuss goals, design, colors, etc. After some back and fourth with the actual design, I stopped into the showroom (their new location in SODO) and was given a tour, a sneak peek at our stunning HUGE sign in production, picked out vinyl colors and went on my way. Our sign was delivered, installed and lit in a timely manner (there were hiccups but that wasn't anyone's problem, it's an old house and a huge sign!
They worked magic.) I am proud to say that, with the combined team work and vision, our sign won top three in this years Sign of the Times international sign competition for neon signs and if that alone doesn't help to showcase that these guys know what they are doing. I am also proud to say that I see on a daily basis, customers standing outside of my business taking their selfies with our sign in the background. I look forward to planning and designing bar two and look forward to working with Western Neon again.

I love this place. FACT: Neon signs are more popular in rainy climes. Why? They shine better through dark, fog and rain. illuminating, eh? This place has a nice collection and what's cool about neon is its all done by hand. amazing these little tubes filled with excited gas glimmer and gleam all night long for our viewing pleasure. TIP: Get a "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" sign custom made for $1500. She'll say "YES". I know, because it worked for me, and now it hangs in our bedroom above our bed. Romantic? Sure. (and I figure it will dissuade any sneaky milkmen)

After all I have already been through, I just received a notice from the City of Seattle that one of my signs was installed without getting a permit. So not only did I find them unprofessional and disappointing, they installed my sign without getting permits and now I am on the hook for those costs! I would not recommend this business to anyone.

I'm fond of neon as an art form, so when I was driving through SODO the other day, early for an appointment, I made a quick swerve and stopped in at this place just south of Safeco Field. The mini Rainier "R" in the window attracted me like a bee to honey. Fortunately for my wallet, the honey is out of my price range. It's even out of the temptation zone where you know you shouldn't spend that much, but you could still be persuaded to knock the crap out of your common sense.
You won't pay less than $200 for anything and they'll try their best to sell you something. They do have a gallery like space with some really cool, funky neon art, as well as all sorts of signs. I really like the clocks. You can have a piece custom designed for you and they work with individuals, businesses and the Museum of History and Industry. They're the ones who restored the original Rainier Beer "R". All in all, a fun stop.
